Altana, in partnership with Epoch and ecoinvent, invites you to join our network of Chief Sustainability Officers for this invitation-only working session during Climate Week NYC.
We will explore how – for the first time ever – CSOs can design initiatives to deliver accurate, verifiable measurement of Scope 3 emissions at scale by bringing together:
- Global, scalable value chain visibility, management, and connectivity, through Altana;
- World-leading, mass-balance, greenhouse gas life cycle assessment models, through ecoinvent;
- First mile agriculture and timber traceability and carbon monitoring, through Epoch; and
- Point source global emissions information, through ClimateTrace.
Â
Limited seats are available, please request an invitation to secure your spot.

Altana is the world’s first Value Chain Management System — a unified, comprehensive approach that goes far beyond supply chain risk management, with unprecedented visibility, contextualized AI decision support across business areas, and a collaborative network with end-to-end workflows to get jobs done.Â
Â
We deliver more than twice the supply chain visibility of any other provider by applying AI to our vast network of public and private sector data — the largest, organized body of supply chain data in the world. Our unique federated data and machine learning architecture makes this possible while ensuring every customer maintains sovereignty, privacy, and security over their data.
Â
With customers like Boston Scientific, L.L.Bean, Maersk, US Customs and Border Protection, and the UK Department of Business and Trade, we are building a fairer, more secure, and more sustainable model of global commerce.Â
Epoch is a venture-backed technology company that leverages state-of-the-art technologies to make agricultural and forestry supply chains transparent and sustainable. We leverage earth observation and web3 technology to monitor and report on environmental outcomes at the first mile of supply chains and leverage global payment networks to tie premium payments to improvement in measured and quantified sustainability metrics.
Â
Today, 10 Gt of CO2e emissions annually result from growing ingredients and commodities in more than 2 billion farms globally. To get to net zero, we will need globally scalable technologies to measure carbon impact and deliver incentives to achieve reductions in the "first mile" of these supply chains.
Â
Epoch makes it easy, cheap, and accessible for corporates and governments to deliver incentives to this "first mile" globally.
ecoinvent is an internationally active, mission-driven organization devoted to supporting high-quality, science-based environmental assessments. Its activities include publishing and maintaining the ecoinvent database, a comprehensive life cycle inventory database that provides reliable and transparent information on the environmental impacts of various products and services. Companies, researchers, and policymakers use the database to analyze the environmental impact of their operations, make informed decisions, and develop sustainable practices.
Â
The ecoinvent database lays the foundation for life cycle assessment projects, eco-design, and product environmental information. Since 2003, it has enabled companies to manufacture their products more harmoniously with the environment, policymakers to implement new policies, and consumers to adopt more environmentally friendly behavior.
